Security Supervisor

About the role

As the Security Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of our dealership. You will oversee and coordinate security measures to protect staff, customers and assets, working closely with management to implement protocols, conduct audits and respond to incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of security personnel, providing effective supervision and guidance.
• Develop and implement security plans and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure a safe environment.
• Conduct regular security patrols and inspections to identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies and customer complaints.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of security‑related activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate security measures into daily operations and special events.
• Train and educate staff on security protocols, fostering a culture of awareness.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, implementing innovative solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and health‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a security management role, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Recognized security certification such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Certified Security Manager (CSM).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities, especially under pressure.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for work‑related purposes.
• Professional, customer‑centric approach with a commitment to high service standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with security technology and systems, including access control, CCTV and alarm systems.
• Thorough understanding of security protocols, risk assessment and emergency response procedures.
