Senior Accountant – Financial Management & Reporting

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to lead our financial operations in Dubai. The role involves ensuring compliance with UAE accounting standards, delivering accurate financial reports, and supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
• Manage the general ledger, cash flow, expenses and revenue monitoring.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations and invoice processing.
• Assist in annual budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, VAT filing and coordinate external audits.
• Review payroll calculations and manage employee‑related financial transactions.
• Utilize Altavista Accounting Software for all accounting activities and system improvements.
• Guide junior staff and collaborate with department heads on financial matters.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards, taxation and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts and cash‑flow analysis.
• Experience supervising junior accountants and coordinating audits.
