Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting

About the role

The Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting will support the timely and accurate financial close, consolidation and reporting of multiple entities in line with IFRS and group requirements. You will work closely with subsidiaries and finance teams to ensure data integrity and leverage AI‑enabled tools for greater efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidation and financial reporting, including account mapping, intercompany eliminations and group‑level adjustments.
• Prepare consolidation schedules, reconciliations and supporting documentation, coordinating with subsidiaries for accurate information.
• Execute monthly, quarterly and annual close activities for assigned entities, preparing journals, accruals, provisions and period‑end adjustments.
• Review trial balances, identify discrepancies and ensure accurate account mapping and classification.
• Prepare and review general ledger, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations, following up on outstanding items.
• Assist internal and external auditors with schedules, reconciliations and documentation, responding to audit queries.
• Conduct variance analysis, financial analysis and management reporting, supporting budget, forecast and cash‑flow reporting.
• Utilise approved AI‑enabled and digital finance tools to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.

Required profile

• Minimum of 6 years (72 months) of relevant experience in financial reporting, consolidation and general ledger functions.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and group reporting standards.
