Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for monitoring cash flow, bank balances and project‑wise costing, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with audit and VAT requirements. This role supports the General Manager with financial insights and manages a wide range of accounting activities across projects and payroll.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor cash flow and bank balances on a project basis.
• Prepare project‑wise costing reports for the General Manager.
• Assist in the annual audit and VAT filing processes.
• Track project‑wise income and expenses and reconcile costs with BOQ and budgets.
• Verify subcontractor and supplier invoices and process supplier payments.
• Follow up on customer receivables and collections.
• Reconcile supplier and subcontractor accounts and manage retention and advance payments.
• Process salary, overtime, gratuity, leave salary, and end‑of‑service provisions.
• Coordinate WPS salary transfers and handle employee advances and deductions.
• Prepare bank reconciliations.

Required profile

• Significant experience in accounting, preferably handling project‑based finances and payroll.
• Strong understanding of audit procedures and VAT compliance.
• Ability to work accurately with multiple financial streams and meet tight deadlines.
