Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Dubai team and support the financial operations of our travel services business. The role is full‑time, on‑site and involves managing day‑to‑day accounting tasks while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Record and reconcile financial transactions, maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting processes.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with local regulations, including VAT.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to provide accurate and timely financial information for travel operations.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in general accounting, bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and cash‑flow management.
• Knowledge of UAE financial regulations, VAT and compliance requirements for the travel sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or ACCA is a plus.
• Prior experience in accounting within travel, hospitality or service industries is preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to work with accounting and financial tools efficiently.
