Senior Accountant – Transformation (UAE National)

About the role

The Senior Accountant – Transformation supports Al‑Futtaim's GBS Finance transformation agenda by coordinating governance processes, preparing executive review decks and maintaining action trackers. The role focuses on enabling automation and IT initiatives across finance workstreams and acts as a key project‑management resource within the Transformation function.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Monthly Operations Review (MOR) and Divisional Review Meeting (DRM) decks, consolidating executive updates, KPI scorecards and control matters into board‑ready presentations.
• Capture meeting minutes and circulate agreed actions promptly, ensuring alignment with divisional CFOs and tower heads.
• Coordinate the monthly governance calendar across all divisions, managing schedules, invitations and logistics with stakeholders.
• Build and maintain consolidated action trackers with owners, due dates, RAG status and dependencies, driving items to closure.
• Monitor completion rates, categorize items by impact, escalate overdue or blocked actions and report status in MOR/DRM cadence.
• Proactively follow up with owners in GBS Finance and Business/Divisional Finance to obtain timely updates and evidence of closure.

Required profile

• UAE national with strong analytical and organisational capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables, ensure accuracy and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and follow‑up discipline across cross‑functional teams in the UAE and Egypt.
