Senior AI Engineer

About the role

Our client, a leading financial institution in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join its Innovation team. You will design, develop and optimise AI‑driven products that enhance banking services and deliver seamless user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise AI products for the bank, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Build robust full‑stack applications and APIs using modern, event‑driven and API‑first backend services.
• Develop cloud‑native solutions on Microsoft Azure or comparable cloud platforms.
• Ensure frontend and backend performance, scalability, security and usability.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, data scientists and data engineers to refine features and improve data quality.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, tools and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in AI engineering, preferably within the banking or financial sector.
• Strong expertise in full‑stack development, both backend and frontend.
• Experience delivering production‑grade APIs and cloud‑native applications.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
