Senior Associate – Compliance Solutions

About the role

Waystone is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Compliance Solutions team in Dubai. Reporting to the Director of Compliance Services, you will support clients and internal teams in navigating complex regulatory environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support for compliance and AML deliverables.
• Act as Compliance Officer/MLRO and potentially Risk Officer.
• Develop, maintain and update policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
• Design and execute compliance monitoring and testing programmes, including desk‑based reviews.
• Submit regulatory returns and notifications on time and serve as the primary contact with regulators.
• Conduct client onboarding, KYC checks, and manage suspicious activity reporting.
• Deliver training on compliance, AML and corporate governance.
• Support outsourcing, authorization and project work for ADGM, DIFC and on‑shore firms.

Required profile

• Relevant professional qualifications and commitment to continuing professional development.
• Strong understanding of AML, KYC and regulatory frameworks in the UAE.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage client expectations.
• Experience working with regulators and preparing compliance documentation.
