Senior Auditor – IFRS & Large Company Audits

About the role

SORP Group is seeking a Senior Auditor to join its Dubai office. The role focuses on hands‑on audit work, preparing detailed working papers and reviewing large‑scale financial statements in accordance with IFRS. You will work closely with external auditors and internal finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in and support external audits.
• Prepare comprehensive audit working papers.
• Communicate with auditors throughout the audit process.
• Review financial statements to ensure IFRS compliance.
• Collect, analyse, and verify financial data.
• Prepare explanations and responses to auditor inquiries.
• Monitor the accuracy of accounting transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of management and financial reports.
• Interact regularly with accounting and finance functions.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of audit experience in an international environment.
• Experience working in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and practical audit experience on large companies.
• Ability to handle large volumes of information and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent in English (C1) and Russian.
• Relevant qualification such as ACCA, CPA or CA is advantageous.
