Senior Business Analyst (Finance & Strategy)

About the role

An experienced Senior Business Analyst is sought in Dubai to analyse and plan financial and business accounting activities for the Middle East region. The role supports business strategy, growth initiatives, financial performance and operational excellence, working closely with the HOD and BU Leadership Team to turn strategic priorities into actionable plans and deliver high-quality financial and business insights.

Key responsibilities

• Support the HOD and BU Leadership Team in delivering the business strategy and achieving above-market growth.
• Operationalise the Business Unit Strategy and Long-Range Plan with the Leadership Team.
• Develop, implement and monitor Value-Creation Plans for new growth opportunities, integrations and strategic initiatives.
• Identify growth opportunities through commercial excellence, pricing, recurring revenue and other key performance drivers.
• Manage the BU Leadership Team agenda and ensure effective implementation of business processes, tools and operating rhythms.
• Prepare strategic analysis, financial models, management reports and business insights, and support strategy packs, LRP content and SDP Level 1 documentation.
• Monitor revenue growth, MIF growth, Annual Recurring Revenue and pricing, and facilitate KPI reviews, MBRs and QBRs.
• Track strategic initiatives from planning through execution and identify business improvement opportunities.
• Work cross-functionally with Finance, Commercial, Operations and Leadership teams and give structured analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• CA/CPA qualified or equivalent professional qualification.
• 5-10 years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, planning or a similar role in an international business environment.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering strategic initiatives from concept to execution.
• Experience in process deployment, project management or business transformation preferred.

Required skills

• Strong financial planning, analysis, reporting and auditing experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma; Black Belt or Green Belt certification is an advantage.
• Understanding of daily management processes and operational excellence frameworks.
