Senior Business Analyst

About the role

The Senior Business Analyst will lead business analysis and requirements gathering across multiple stakeholder groups, focusing on the legacy back‑office solution used in retail and institutional brokerage, market making, and asset management. The role involves conducting GAP analysis to align current systems with the company’s future strategy and product roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse detailed requirements for back‑office solutions across various business lines.
• Perform comprehensive GAP analysis to identify functional and architectural gaps.
• Recommend enhancements, automation opportunities, and data‑governance improvements.
• Develop and maintain Business Requirement Documents and system specifications.
• Collaborate with business units, IT, and vendors to define system specifications.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and automation trends in brokerage back‑office systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or Economics.
• Minimum eight years of experience in financial services, specifically back‑office systems for brokerage, investment banking or capital markets.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and investigative mindset.

Required skills

• Business and functional requirements gathering.
• UAT case development and support.
• Epic and story development for system implementation.
• Proficiency with JIRA, SharePoint, SQL queries.
• Experience using BPM tools such as Bizagi and MS Visio.
• Data analysis and documentation skills.
