Senior Business Development Specialist

About the role

EDGE Group is seeking a Senior Business Development Specialist to drive market development, identify opportunities and engage customers across its advanced technology and defence portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new market and business development opportunities.
• Conduct market, customer and competitor research.
• Support opportunity qualification and pipeline management.
• Prepare customer presentations, business cases and market assessments.
• Support customer engagements, events and strategic partnerships.
• Coordinate with technical and commercial teams to progress opportunities.
• Maintain CRM data and pipeline reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Defence or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Commercial or Strategy roles.
• Experience in the defence, aerospace or advanced technology sector.
• Knowledge of integrated C5ISR systems and related technologies.
