Senior Classic Car Workshop Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Workshop Manager to lead our classic car workshop, overseeing daily operations and ensuring high‑quality restoration and repair work. The role involves managing a team of technicians, coordinating projects, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily workshop operations, including scheduling, parts procurement, and workflow coordination.
• Supervise and support mechanics, technicians, and support staff, allocating jobs based on skill and workload.
• Plan, monitor, and inspect classic vehicle repairs, servicing, and restoration projects to meet quality and timeline standards.
• Communicate with customers regarding vehicle condition, progress, and required work.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicles, parts, and workshop activities, and ensure safety and cleanliness standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a classic‑car workshop manager, senior mechanic, or similar senior automotive role.
• Diploma, associate or bachelor’s degree in automotive technology, mechanical or automotive engineering, or related field.
• Hands‑on experience with classic, vintage or collectible cars and strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem‑solving and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
