Service Engineer Elevators

About the role

Responsible for technical support, field service, maintenance, repairs, and inspection of marine elevator systems. The role reports to the Senior Technical Manager and involves working on both land‑based and offshore installations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical and periodic inspections of elevators, including traction, hydraulic, escalator and rack‑and‑pinion types.
• Carry out planned, preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as major mechanical repairs and replacements.
• Troubleshoot complex elevator malfunctions and execute electrical and mechanical adjustments.
• Conduct technical site surveys, modernisation projects and retrofits for marine elevator systems.
• Maintain detailed service records, parts usage logs and customer interaction reports while ensuring safety compliance.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in electrical, electronics or instrumentation engineering, or a professional qualification in elevator engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the elevator industry, covering new installations, repairs and service.
• Ability to travel regionally and internationally, including offshore assignments and work at heights.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written) and a second language.
