Senior Coating & Painting Inspector

About the role

The Senior Coating & Painting Inspector will lead inspection activities for pipe and concrete coating projects within the oil and gas sector in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to the project manager, you will ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and conduct field joint inspections for pipe coating projects.
• Verify 3LPP and concrete coating applications against technical specifications.
• Prepare detailed technical reports in English, documenting findings and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors to align inspection schedules and quality requirements.
• Ensure all work adheres to relevant codes such as ASME, ISO, and BS.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Certification to BGAS Grade 2 or NACE Level 2.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including at least 5 years in pipe coating and field joint inspection.
• Proven experience with EPC contractors.
• Fluent written and spoken English, with strong technical report writing skills.
