Senior Construction/Installation Engineer – Structures (Topsides & Bridges)

About the role

The Senior Construction/Installation Engineer – Structures (Topsides & Bridges) is responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing construction, load‑out, transportation, offshore installation, hook‑up and commissioning support for offshore topsides, interconnecting bridges and related structural facilities. The role ensures safe, efficient execution in line with project specifications, client requirements and industry standards while providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead construction and offshore installation engineering activities for topsides, bridges, modules and related offshore structures.
• Review and approve installation methodologies, lifting plans, rigging studies, transportation analyses and offshore execution procedures.
• Develop installation work packs, method statements and execution plans and coordinate with engineering, fabrication, marine and commissioning teams.
• Monitor offshore installation progress, provide technical guidance to site teams and resolve engineering queries.
• Coordinate load‑out, sea‑fastening, marine transportation and heavy‑lift vessel operations ensuring safety and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Structural, Civil or Marine Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 15‑18 years of offshore construction and installation experience in EPC/EPCI oil & gas projects, with at least 5 years in a senior execution role.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, BOSIET/HUET, lifting and rigging certification, and NEBOSH or equivalent HSE qualification.
