Senior Consultant – Building Enclosures

About the role

WSP Middle East is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead façade access design and delivery across landmark projects in the UAE. The role combines technical expertise with advisory responsibilities to ensure safe, sustainable, and high‑quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical and advisory input on façade access strategies with a whole‑building perspective.
• Collaborate with the Façade Engineering team and other disciplines for integrated project delivery.
• Develop reglazing strategies and produce clear reports at key design stages.
• Undertake and review engineering calculations in line with relevant codes and standards.
• Execute CAD/BIM tasks and produce accurate AutoCAD drawings.
• Research emerging façade access systems and recommend innovative solutions.
• Conduct factory and site inspections to assess quality and compliance.
• Provide regular updates to line management and embed Health & Safety in all practices.

Required profile

• Degree in engineering or related discipline (façade, structural or mechanical preferred).
• Proven experience in façade access consultancy, including front‑end design and inspections.
• Strong knowledge of CDM and EN standards relevant to façade access systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and produce technical drawings.
