Senior Credit Control Officer

About the role

The Senior Credit Control Officer will ensure that all credit facilities and associated security documentation are prepared, reviewed, and registered in strict compliance with Islamic financing structures, Sharia‑compliant templates, and UAE legal requirements. This role supports the bank’s risk management framework by safeguarding the enforceability of credit documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Facility Letters, Facility Agreements, and collateral/security documents in both English and Arabic using approved legal and Sharia templates.
• Review executed finance and security documents to confirm proper authorisation and compliance with Credit Risk Policies and CCD SOPs.
• Validate signatures against constitutional documents and obtain required legal opinions.
• Register and perfect securities/collaterals with relevant authorities, including EIRC registrations for movable assets.
• Maintain and update facility limits, expiry dates, collateral records, and risk grades in monitoring trackers.
• Ensure all credit approvals follow the Delegation of Lending Authority (DLA) guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Islamic financing structures and related facility agreements.
• Experience in preparing and vetting bilingual (English/Arabic) credit documentation.
• Familiarity with UAE legal and Sharia requirements for collateral enforcement.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
