Senior Data Analyst / Data Engineer

About the role

BlackStone eIT is looking for a Senior Data Analyst / Data Engineer to design, build and optimise data pipelines that power business insights across the organisation. You will work with modern cloud platforms and BI tools to deliver reliable, high‑performance data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines from multiple data sources.
• Architect, manage and optimise cloud data warehouses and data lakes (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Implement data governance, validation checks and error‑handling routines to ensure data quality.
• Query large datasets using advanced SQL and Python to extract actionable business value.
• Create automated dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI for stakeholders.

Required profile

• 4‑6+ years of combined experience in data engineering and advanced data analysis.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or a related field.
• Strong expertise in advanced SQL, Python and/or Scala.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS, GCP or Azure and familiarity with Spark or Hadoop.
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Practical knowledge of workflow orchestration tools like Airflow or dbt.
