Senior DevOps Data Engineer - Enterprise Data & Analytics

About the role

The Senior DevOps Data Engineer will join Emirates Group’s Analytics Centre of Excellence (ACoE) to design, build and operate automated CI/CD pipelines that enable autonomous product teams to deliver software faster and more reliably. This role is central to the group’s digital transformation, helping to make the organisation more data‑driven.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines covering code deployment, test automation, code quality checks, telemetry and orchestration.
• Configure and tailor pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery for a range of products, ensuring performance, scalability and supportability.
• Guide teams on container deployment and orchestration, managing cloud infrastructure, shared services and landing zones.
• Build and deploy Docker containers, breaking monolithic applications into micro‑services to improve developer workflow and scalability.
• Design monitoring, alerting and log‑aggregation solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with senior technical engineers on technical design, cloud migration, virtualization and performance analysis.
• Troubleshoot moderate to high‑complexity defects and conduct independent testing.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a DevOps or Data Engineer in a senior capacity.
• Strong judgment in selecting appropriate methods and techniques for complex problem solving.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with senior engineers on architectural decisions.
• Experience in multi‑cloud environments and agile release train settings.
