Senior Document Controller

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced Senior Document Controller to join the ADNOC Offshore Umm Shaif Gas Cap Phase 1 project in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures that all project documentation is managed, controlled, and delivered in line with company and client standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the project document control system according to company procedures and client requirements.
• Register, distribute, track, and retrieve documents efficiently.
• Liaise with project teams, contractors, and clients to guarantee timely submission and receipt of documentation.
• Prepare transmittals, maintain logs, and generate status reports.
• Ensure traceability and secure storage of confidential records.
• Train and support junior document controllers on established procedures.
• Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with QA/QC and project requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 10 years of document control experience in the oil and gas sector.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work within multidisciplinary project environments.
