Senior Electrical Engineer

About the role

Rejlers International Engineering Solutions is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and execute electrical design projects for the oil & gas sector in Abu Dhabi. You will work closely with the Head of Discipline, Electrical, and support bid preparation and project delivery across local and international assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Support process‑industry project design and ensure smooth execution.
• Assist engineers, design managers and discipline managers with engineering design tasks.
• Verify source data, concept drawings and prepare the Engineering Document Deliverable Register (EDDR) in line with client and contract requirements.
• Produce electrical design deliverables using MS‑Office, SmartPlant Electrical (SPEL), AutoCAD, Micro‑Station and calculation tools such as ETAP, cable‑sizing software and DiaLux.
• Perform relay setting and coordination, CT sizing and other protection studies.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years (180 months) of experience in electrical engineering for oil & gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, including ADNOC specifications.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on safety, learning and knowledge sharing.
• Ability to lead multiple projects and deliver high‑quality documentation.
