Senior Electrical Service Technician (Grade 11)

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Service Technician (Grade 11) to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of CNC and special‑purpose machines in a demanding manufacturing environment in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain CNC machines, special purpose machines and associated electrical/control systems according to OEM requirements.
• Lead systematic root‑cause analysis of complex electrical and control failures.
• Diagnose and repair CNC control systems, PLCs, machine interfaces, control circuits and electrical panels.
• Maintain servo drives, spindle drives, servo and spindle motors, encoders and feedback systems.
• Service ATC/APC tool changers, pallet changers, sequence controls and clamping systems.
• Inspect, repair and maintain power distribution equipment such as MCCBs, MCBs, contactors, overload relays, transformers, fuses and power supplies.
• Troubleshoot PLC I/O, sensors, relays, solenoid circuits, machine interlocks and automation networks.
• Maintain HMI systems, operator panels and communication interfaces.
• Inspect and test safety circuits, emergency stops, safety relays and door interlocks.
• Perform preventive maintenance and electrical inspections, monitoring for overheating, wiring damage, contamination and component wear.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance of CNC and special‑purpose manufacturing equipment.
• Strong technical leadership – able to guide junior technicians and coordinate with OEMs and specialist contractors.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a focus on reliability improvement.
• Ability to work safely in a high‑pressure manufacturing environment.
