Senior Engineer – OT Cybersecurity

About the role

CPX is looking for a Senior Engineer to lead the implementation of OT Cybersecurity solutions within utility environments and master control centres. The role combines hands‑on deployment, configuration, integration and documentation of cybersecurity technologies in high‑ and low‑voltage substations.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and integrate OT cybersecurity hardware and software on brownfield substations.
• Design and commission infrastructure, including panel/cabinet builds, cabling, termination, labeling and testing.
• Prepare high‑level and low‑level design (HLD/LLD) drawings and complete engineering documentation packs.
• Support FAT/SAT activities and produce structured acceptance evidence.
• Ensure compliance with PTW systems, method statements, risk assessments and UAE utility HSE standards.

Required profile

• 7–12 years of experience in cyber‑infrastructure or OT‑infrastructure execution in utilities, substations, rail or industrial settings.
• Strong background in operational technology, instrumentation and electrical‑telecom work.
• Proven ability to work onsite under schedule constraints and coordinate with clients, OEMs and subcontractors.
• Relevant safety certifications (NEBOSH IGC, OSHAD registration, First Aid/Fire Fighting) or eligibility to obtain them.
