Senior Engineer - Site Reliability

About the role

AIQ, a joint‑venture technology company in Abu Dhabi, is looking for a Senior Engineer specializing in Site Reliability. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of AI‑driven platforms that serve the energy sector. The role involves leading reliability initiatives, improving observability, and handling complex production incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve monitoring, alerting, and incident‑response systems.
• Identify and remediate performance bottlenecks and failure points.
• Drive SLO/SLI adoption and lead root‑cause analyses.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote operational excellence.
• Deploy application updates with minimal service disruption.
• Evaluate new technologies through proof‑of‑concepts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years experience in SRE/DevOps/Platform engineering, including managing Kubernetes clusters.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot high‑pressure production incidents.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Huawei Cloud, Azure preferred) and compliance with QHSE and security policies.
