Senior Executive Officer, DIFC

About the role

Bank ABC is looking for a Senior Executive Officer to lead its DIFC Branch in Dubai. The role is responsible for delivering the branch’s financial and non‑financial targets while ensuring strict compliance with DFSA regulations and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute branch strategy in coordination with the Group Chief Wholesale Banking Officer and Head Office.
• Prepare and submit accurate financial and management returns on time.
• Maintain robust internal controls and adhere to delegated authority limits.
• Ensure DFSA policies are understood, interpreted and applied across the branch.
• Oversee OPEX and CAPEX budgeting, monitor performance against approved budgets.
• Promote the bank’s corporate image with stakeholders and regulators.
• Drive wholesale banking, capital markets and treasury product rollout to target markets.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and product heads to cross‑sell and generate revenue.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in wholesale banking or capital markets.
• Deep understanding of DFSA regulatory framework and banking policies.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and performance metrics.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence internal and external partners.
• Strategic thinker with a results‑oriented mindset.
