Senior Finance Analyst – Retail

About the role

We are a leading UAE retail group representing premium sports, lifestyle and consumer brands. The Senior Finance Analyst will drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis across retail, wholesale and e‑commerce channels.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain annual and monthly budget and rolling forecast by channel, brand and store.
• Track business performance against budget/forecast, identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with accounting on month‑end close, accruals and analytical review.
• Own monthly management reporting pack – P&L by channel, brand and store with variance analysis.
• Prepare PowerPoint decks for business reviews, leadership meetings and brand updates.
• Maintain KPI dashboards covering sales, margin, OPEX and inventory.
• Support new store feasibility studies, lease renewals and other investment cases.
• Improve financial models and automate recurring reports using Excel, Power BI and AI tools.
• Assist ERP and BI enhancements and ensure master data quality.
• Document reporting processes for repeatability and auditability.
• Provide ad‑hoc scenario modelling and decision support for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field; CIMA, ACCA, CA or CFA preferred.
• 5‑8 years of FP&A or commercial finance experience, including 2‑3 years in retail.
• Experience in GCC markets is strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills; Power BI or similar BI tool a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with a major ERP such as Microsoft Dynamics.
