Senior Financial Analyst, Amazon Global Sales Finance - EMEA

Join the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst partnering with our EMEA Amazon Global Sales teams to deliver strategic initiatives, increase revenue, and maximize return on investments while delighting our customers.

In this role, you will support senior Sales Leaders by diving deep into business drivers, identifying measures of success, building and implementing mechanisms to drive governance, and providing data‑driven insights that influence decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Sales Leaders to develop and implement strategic initiatives, creating financial frameworks that drive data‑informed business decisions and maximize return on investments.
• Build and maintain key reporting metrics (KPIs) with compelling narratives that help business partners understand performance trends and take appropriate action.
• Perform complex financial analyses and develop scalable mechanisms that provide insights on business drivers, identifying opportunities for growth and operational improvements.
• Present financial summaries and business insights to senior management, effectively communicating complex finance topics with the right level of detail for informed decision‑making.
• Drive short and long‑term financial planning processes, collaborating across organizations to ensure alignment with strategic objectives while maintaining strong financial controllership.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or equivalent experience in relevant finance roles.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Experience in forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and interpreting financial results.
• Proven ability to use financial models, KPIs and data analysis to deliver measurable business impact.
• Experience in commercial finance business partnering or FP&A.
