Senior Global Operations Manager – Distributed Cloud

About the role

The Senior Global Operations Manager will oversee Oracle's Distributed Cloud data centre operations across multiple sites, integrating team performance, operational metrics and capacity analysis into the broader business strategy. This senior role coordinates with cloud service providers, supports new region builds and ensures world‑class standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead data centre site operations for a portfolio of enterprise customers globally, coordinating with cloud service providers such as AWS, Microsoft and Google.
• Define, monitor and communicate operational KPIs, goals and objectives, providing visibility of performance, risks and improvement actions to leadership.
• Manage escalation of technical issues, crisis response and root‑cause analysis, ensuring standardized processes and an accurate knowledge base.
• Support new region builds and expansion projects, acting as senior liaison with project and engineering teams to manage timelines, capacity and compliance.
• Oversee installations, repairs, inventory and logistics, enforce standards for component replacement and upgrades, and recommend major purchases.
• Drive automation and issue management, ensuring compliance reporting for DRCC/Alloy customers.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading global data centre operations and managing multi‑cloud environments.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to define and track operational metrics.
• Excellent stakeholder management, working with cross‑functional teams and external cloud providers.
• Experience in crisis management, root‑cause analysis and process standardisation.
