About the role

Join ADCB as the Senior Head of Structured Credit Solutions & Financial Institutions, leading the FI Sales and structured credit strategy across the bank. You will shape the department’s vision, drive profitability, and ensure risk‑adjusted performance while supporting the bank’s growth ambitions in the UAE and the wider MENA region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Group’s structured credit and FI Sales strategy, translating corporate objectives into operational business plans.
• Lead the origination, pricing, structuring and execution of structured credit products and derivatives, ensuring alignment with risk appetite and profitability targets.
• Oversee market intelligence, due‑diligence and risk monitoring for prospective and live trades, implementing appropriate hedging strategies.
• Manage and develop teams, handling performance, recruitment, learning and development to maintain high engagement and competence.
• Drive change initiatives, create and enforce policies, procedures and controls, and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in FI Sales, structured derivatives and credit solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proven presentation and persuasive selling skills in FX, interest‑rate, commodity derivatives and credit solutions.
• Strong knowledge of credit, market, liquidity, operational and settlement risk categories.
• High level of economic and market awareness.
