Senior Hostess (Russian Speaker)

About the role

Rixos Bab Al Bahr, a luxury hotel chain offering Turkish hospitality and an all-inclusive holiday concept, is hiring a full-time Senior Hostess fluent in Russian. The role covers the front desk of the restaurant, from handling reservations and guest seating to maintaining guest relations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of the dining room layout, table numbers, capacity, hours, price range and dress code, and of reservation procedures, daily house counts, arrivals and departures, VIPs and scheduled group activities.
• Answer the telephone within three rings, take and confirm reservations and cancellations, and inform management of changes during the shift.
• Greet guests at the entrance, seat them according to the floor plan, present the menu and ensure tables are set to the guest's comfort.
• Anticipate busy periods, manage waiting lines, anticipate guest needs and handle complaints with immediate resolution.
• Keep menus, check folders and the hostess stand clean and organised, and monitor that tables are cleared and reset.
• Assist the supervisor with cashiering procedures, help with menu printing, promote F&B outlets during downtime and make systematic table visits.
• Follow the Employee Handbook, fire, hygiene, health and safety policies, local legislation and hotel appearance standards, and be flexible to take on other reasonable duties.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality, or a fresher with 1 year of experience in a 4-5 star hotel.
• Fluency in Russian.
• Successful completion of the training process.
