About the role

Apt Resources is recruiting a Waiter/Waitress for an upmarket casual dining restaurant in Ras Al-Khaimah. The restaurant is known for its exceptional service, inviting atmosphere and a menu of innovative dishes made from high-quality ingredients. The role is full-time and focuses on delivering a warm, welcoming dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests promptly upon arrival
• Present menus and explain menu items, specials and recommendations
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system
• Serve orders promptly and monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal
• Prepare tables with linens, utensils and glassware
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of meals
• Address customer inquiries or concerns professionally and positively
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas
• Process payments accurately and efficiently
• Upsell menu items and promote special offers when appropriate

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a casual dining environment, preferably upmarket
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant training or certifications are a plus
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Required skills

• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable manner
• Strong communication skills and teamwork
• Knowledge of food and beverage menus and pairing options
• Ability to multitask and manage time in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to high service standards

What we offer

• Salary of AED 1,700 - 2,400 plus AED 400 food allowance
• Service charge average of AED 250 to 450 and credit card tips plus cash tips
