Senior Interior Designer – Site

About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer with a focus on site supervision to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role you will lead interior design projects from concept to completion, ensuring high‑quality execution and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop innovative and functional interior design concepts for residential and commercial projects.
• Oversee on‑site implementation of design plans, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve design and construction issues.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any challenges.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers.
• Liaise with clients to understand their needs and present design solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, sustainable practices, and new materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in interior design, with at least 5 years focused on site supervision and consultancy.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai building codes and regulations.
• Excellent project‑management abilities and capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Experience with sustainable design practices.
• Professional certification (e.g., NCIDQ, BIID) preferred.
• Fluency in English; Arabic knowledge is advantageous.
