Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

The Senior Legal Counsel provides comprehensive legal support across multiple business units, handling contract drafting, corporate structuring, and regulatory liaison. This senior‑level position ensures legal risks are managed in line with business strategy while protecting the group’s reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on corporate mergers, acquisitions, share transfers and ensure compliance with UAE and international law.
• Draft and negotiate shareholders’ agreements, joint ventures, MoUs, partnership agreements and other commercial contracts.
• Lead legal support for domestic and cross‑border M&A transactions from due diligence through integration.
• Provide guidance on corporate restructuring, governance, board resolutions and internal policy updates.
• Oversee incorporation of entities across UAE jurisdictions and liaise with DED, ADGM and DIFC regulators.
• Manage litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution, including high‑stakes cases across jurisdictions.
• Advise on data protection, GDPR, UAE privacy laws and cybersecurity compliance.
• Mentor junior legal staff and coordinate with external counsel, notaries and regulatory authorities.
