Senior Manager, Field Engineering (UAE)

About the role

As a Senior Manager of Field Engineering for the UAE market, you will lead a team of technical pre‑sales Solutions Architects and Solutions Engineers. You will partner closely with the sales organisation to drive revenue, coach both sales and pre‑sales teams, and communicate complex, business‑value‑focused solutions to large enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, mentor and grow the pre‑sales team across the UAE.
• Build a collaborative, customer‑obsessed culture within a high‑growth team.
• Support and increase the return on investment of Solutions Architects in sales cycles.
• Ensure solution‑ and value‑based selling throughout the field‑engineering organisation.
• Engage with key customer executives to strengthen strategic partnerships.
• Align closely with partners and internal services to secure implementation strategies.
• Represent Databricks in leadership, marketing and sales initiatives across the region.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing teams of Big Data, Cloud or SaaS professionals.
• Background in consumption‑based business environments.
• Track record of mentoring and scaling technical teams.
• Ability to partner with sales and cross‑functional leaders.
• Passion for data, AI and cloud software models.
• Strong communication skills and experience dealing with UAE clients.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
