Senior Manager, Social Media (UAE Nationals)

About the role

Etihad Airways is looking for a visionary Senior Manager, Social Media to lead its global social media strategy. Reporting to the Director of Brand, Creative & Social, you will shape a social‑first approach that strengthens brand affinity and drives business performance across digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive global social media strategy aligned with brand and commercial objectives.
• Create a social media playbook, leveraging audience insights, analytics and emerging platform opportunities.
• Define how the brand translates across social channels, ensuring a consistent, premium presence.
• Oversee content creation, calendar planning and campaign execution to meet business goals.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, translate performance data into actionable business insights and demonstrate ROI.
• Lead major brand moments, global partnerships, events and influencer collaborations.
• Coach and develop a high‑performing team of social media specialists.

Required profile

• UAE national with extensive experience in social media strategy and management.
• Proven leadership skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to turn data into strategic decisions.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
• Expertise in social media analytics and performance measurement.
• Experience with content planning, storytelling and influencer partnership management.
