Senior Mechanical Engineer – High‑Rise Projects

About the role

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will support a leading Dubai electromechanical contractor on a portfolio of high‑rise building projects (30+ floors). The role involves reviewing mechanical drawings, monitoring engineering progress and ensuring compliance with local codes and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve mechanical drawings for HVAC, plumbing and firefighting systems.
• Monitor project execution, verify that designs meet UAE codes and client specifications.
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve cost‑effective and timely delivery.
• Prepare detailed drawings and perform engineering calculations to support design development.
• Provide technical guidance and expert input throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience on high‑rise MEP projects.
• Proven ability to work on HVAC, plumbing and fire‑fighting systems.
• Experience with high‑end projects across the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE mechanical codes and standards.
• Previous experience in an electromechanical contracting environment is desirable.
