Senior Mechanical Engineer – MEP (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection)

About the role

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead and supervise all mechanical engineering activities on‑site for construction projects, ensuring that HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection and related services are delivered to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise mechanical site activities in line with drawings, specifications and safety standards.
• Manage engineers, supervisors and subcontractors, allocating manpower, materials and tools efficiently.
• Coordinate closely with civil, electrical and architectural teams.
• Review shop drawings, submittals and method statements, providing technical solutions and value‑engineering input.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and handover of mechanical systems, including inspection coordination and O&M manual preparation.

Required profile

• Senior‑level mechanical engineer with proven site leadership experience.
• Strong ability to mentor site engineers and manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent knowledge of statutory regulations, project specifications and safety standards.
• Demonstrated experience delivering projects on time, within budget and to high quality.
