Senior Mechanical Engineer – MEP

About the role

Emirates Electrical Engineering LLC is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) activities on construction sites across Dubai. The role involves overseeing the design, installation, testing and hand‑over of HVAC, plumbing, drainage and fire‑protection systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, statutory regulations and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all on‑site mechanical works according to drawings, specifications and safety requirements.
• Manage engineers, supervisors and subcontractors, allocating manpower, materials and tools efficiently.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical and architectural teams to integrate mechanical services.
• Review shop drawings, submittals and method statements, providing technical solutions and value‑engineering inputs.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and final hand‑over of HVAC, plumbing, drainage and fire‑protection systems.
• Arrange inspections with consultants and clients and ensure proper O&M documentation.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in MEP mechanical engineering on construction projects.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor site engineers and manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent knowledge of local statutory regulations and safety standards for mechanical systems.
• Ability to deliver projects on time while maintaining high quality and cost efficiency.
