Senior Mechanical Engineer Rotating

About the role

Penspen is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its UAE team. The role focuses on overseeing mechanical engineering tasks, managing construction and fabrication activities, and ensuring compliance with industry standards for major oil and gas or petrochemical projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise mechanical engineering design and analysis.
• Manage construction, fabrication, and installation phases.
• Ensure adherence to API, ASME and other relevant codes.
• Coordinate EPC project lifecycle activities, including commissioning, operation and start‑up.
• Provide technical support for offshore construction projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of professional experience, with at least 6 years in oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
• Proven expertise in EPC project delivery and offshore construction.
• Experience in commissioning, operation and start‑up phases.
• Previous involvement in ARAMCO projects is an advantage.
