Senior Network Infrastructure Expert

About the role

Sindstrøm Tek is looking for a Senior Network Infrastructure Expert to lead the planning, deployment and operational readiness of network infrastructure for its next‑generation global Content Delivery Network (CDN). Acting as the local Subject Matter Expert, you will provide practical expertise on fiber connectivity, carrier infrastructure, data‑centre interconnection and network operations within the UAE market. The position is a part‑time consulting role with a remote/flexible schedule, estimated at 15‑20 hours per month.

Key responsibilities

• Guide design decisions, technical plans and scope alignment for network infrastructure in the region.
• Serve as the recognised SME for network planning, deployment and operations in the country.
• Conduct solution reviews and provide technical guidance to internal engineering teams.
• Mentor colleagues and promote knowledge sharing across the organization.
• Coordinate with local telecom operators, data‑centre providers and other infrastructure partners to ensure reliable CDN node deployment.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in network project management, with a focus on fiber‑optic infrastructure and facilities.
• Proven track record coordinating large‑scale, high‑security network deployments and operations.
• Strong understanding of best practices for network infrastructure deployment and operations in the UAE.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fluent English; occasional international travel may be required.
