Senior Network & Security Engineer – Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network & Security Engineer to deliver on‑site consultancy and technical support for a large enterprise environment in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing, maintaining and troubleshooting the enterprise network across all service tiers while adhering to ITIL processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (L1, L2, L3).
• Diagnose and resolve complex connectivity and performance issues.
• Monitor network health and proactively identify potential problems.
• Provide technical support outside normal hours, including weekends and remote assistance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve incidents and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and troubleshooting records.
• Utilise network monitoring tools such as ManageEngine.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 5–7 years of hands‑on experience in large enterprise network environments.
• Mandatory CCNP certification.
• Proven experience delivering L1, L2 and L3 network support within an ITIL framework.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to work onsite in the UAE for a 1‑year consultancy and provide after‑hours support.

Required skills

• CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional).
• Enterprise networking and network troubleshooting.
• ITIL service management processes.
• Network configuration, maintenance and performance monitoring.
• ManageEngine or similar monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of Fortinet, F5 BIG‑IP and CISSP concepts (preferred).
• Penetration testing basics (preferred).
