Senior Night Manager – Overnight Operations

About the role

The Senior Night Manager leads all hotel operations during the overnight shift, ensuring the highest standards of hospitality, safety, and service continuity. Reporting to property management, this role acts as the on‑duty manager, handling guest issues, staff coordination, and financial controls throughout the night.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all overnight departments, ensuring compliance with operational guidelines and uniform standards.
• Monitor inventory levels, period‑end inventories, and department supplies.
• Maintain a safe working environment and enforce grooming and uniform policies.
• Review financial statements, sales reports, and chargeback/rebate processes to support profitability.
• Resolve guest concerns directly and collaborate with Guest Relations to prevent recurrence.
• Manage cash handling procedures, monitor overages/shortages, and ensure timely invoice processing.
• Track employee hours, conduct staffing adjustments, and support human‑resources initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma/GED with 5 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related areas, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, etc., with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to lead overnight teams and make decisive operational decisions.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
