Senior Officer – Compliance & Assurance (Outsource)

About the role

The Senior Officer – Compliance & Assurance (Outsource) works within the Cyber Defense Center of ADIB's Group Information Security Department. The role focuses on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) monitoring, incident validation, governance and assurance to protect the bank’s information assets and meet regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze and investigate DLP alerts across all data transfer channels to detect potential data leakage and policy violations.
• Perform L2 validation of incidents, ensuring accurate classification, risk assessment and proper escalation.
• Coordinate investigations and remediation with IT, business units, HR, Legal, Privacy and Fraud teams.
• Develop and maintain DLP dashboards, reports and metrics to track alert volumes, incident trends and SLA performance.
• Conduct periodic assurance reviews of DLP processes and implement improvements to policies, rules and controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• More than 5 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity or risk/compliance, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Hands‑on experience in Data Loss Prevention monitoring, incident validation and quality assurance.
• Preferred certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or CRISC.
