Senior Officer FABS Operations

About the role

The Senior Officer – FABS Operations will ensure that all operational activities related to securities and cash are executed efficiently, in line with FAB policies and regulatory requirements. The role covers trade administration, settlement processing, fund transfers and asset servicing for the brokerage business.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure proper controls and procedures to mitigate business and operational risk in brokerage settlements.
• Manage timely receipt and processing of securities and cash, both domestic and international.
• Prepare and review account opening, market maintenance, LOA, POA and other KYC documentation.
• Review and deliver securities reports to markets and FAB management according to internal policies.
• Resolve client trades and portfolio issues on trade date (T+0) by coordinating with Operations Specialists, Customer Service and internal traders.
• Prepare, analyze and review weekly/monthly reconciliations (corporate actions, client portfolio) and produce management, compliance and risk reports.
• Update client personal and trading information in the brokerage system and ensure alignment with market records.
• Participate in departmental projects, policy and procedure development, and job‑rotation activities.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with solid experience in brokerage operations, settlements and asset servicing.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to identify and communicate operational risks.
• Methodical approach to accurate authorization and processing of transactions.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage workloads and meet strict deadlines.
• Flexible working hours to meet operational requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑management skills for interaction with internal departments and external stakeholders.
