Senior Operations Executive

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Operations Executive to lead our freight forwarding and logistics activities in the UAE. The role involves overseeing end‑to‑end shipment coordination, ensuring compliance, and delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the full shipment lifecycle, liaising with carriers, shipping lines and logistics partners.
• Prepare and maintain all shipping and customs documentation, ensuring adherence to local and international regulations.
• Stay current with customs regulations, work with brokers to secure smooth clearance.
• Serve as the primary client contact, providing shipment updates and handling inquiries.
• Manage relationships with transportation providers and negotiate competitive freight rates.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Analyze performance metrics, implement process improvements and cost reductions.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure ongoing compliance across operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in freight forwarding operations.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping, customs regulations and trade compliance.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with logistics software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office tools.
