Senior Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead our Dubai warehouse and logistics operations. You will be responsible for overseeing inbound and outbound processes, ensuring product quality, and maintaining efficient inventory flow for our premium food distribution business.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and verify goods against invoices, checking for quality defects, damages, and quantity discrepancies.
• Manage air and sea shipments, promptly reporting any issues to management.
• Weigh all items accurately for costing purposes.
• Store products using a First‑In‑First‑Out system, ensuring correct placement on shelves, racks, and freezers.
• Monitor expiry dates and provide weekly reports to senior management.
• Label and code items according to the predefined system before storage.
• Control stock movements, ensuring all dispatches are authorized and documented.
• Schedule and allocate vans and trucks to meet customer delivery timelines, quantities, and quality standards.
• Coordinate closely with delivery staff to ensure prompt dispatch and handle return inspections.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing warehouse and logistics operations, preferably in food distribution.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, FIFO storage, and product handling requirements.
• Ability to oversee documentation, authorizations, and quality inspections.
• Familiarity with scheduling vehicles and coordinating deliveries.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
