Freighter Loading Expert – Dubai World Central

About the role

We are looking for a Freighter Loading Expert to manage safe on‑loading, off‑loading and ground support activities for freighter aircraft at Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC). The role operates on a 24/7 shift and must meet service level agreements while complying with regulatory controls.

Key responsibilities

• Follow company SOPs, work instructions and airport authority standards to ensure smooth freighter operations.
• Handle loading and equipment operation for incoming and outgoing freighter flights as allocated.
• Conduct regular safety briefings, intervene on risk exposure and ensure safety reporting procedures are followed.
• Work under time constraints to achieve on‑time departures and meet service delivery targets.
• Brief team members, allocate tasks and oversee loading and off‑loading activities on the main deck.
• Coordinate with the Airside Loading Supervisor and ensure any loading deviation is authorised before aircraft release.
• Ensure availability of serviceable loading and off‑loading equipment by liaising with relevant sections.
• Provide technical expertise on special loads as the subject‑matter expert for freighter operations.

Required profile

• Ability to comply with SOPs, safety regulations and airport authority requirements.
• Strong focus on safety, with experience conducting safety briefings and reporting.
• Capability to work under pressure and meet tight turnaround schedules.
• Effective communication and coordination with supervisors and cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Freighter aircraft loading and off‑loading procedures.
• Operation of ground handling equipment.
• Knowledge of airport authority standards and regulatory requirements.
