Senior Pipeline Engineer – Offshore FEED Project

About the role

KBR is expanding its Project Management Consultancy team for a high‑profile offshore development in Abu Dhabi. The Senior Pipeline Engineer will lead FEED engineering for offshore pipelines, subsea flowlines and risers, ensuring design integrity and compliance with ADNOC standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead FEED engineering and review all deliverables related to offshore pipeline systems.
• Validate routing, sizing, wall‑thickness design and material selection against ADNOC Offshore standards.
• Verify compliance with ASME B31.4/B31.8, DNV‑ST‑N001, DNV‑ST‑N002 and relevant API codes.
• Assess installation, pre‑commissioning and commissioning design philosophies.
• Review and approve EPC contractor calculations, specifications and technical bid documents.
• Monitor engineering progress, identify risks and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
• Embed integrity management in design, including corrosion protection, cathodic protection and coating specifications.
• Review stress, fatigue and buckling analyses to guarantee pipeline reliability.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in offshore pipeline FEED engineering and design.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC offshore standards and international pipeline codes.
• Proven ability to manage EPC contractors and oversee technical documentation.
• Excellent risk identification and mitigation skills in a project environment.
