Senior Piping Engineer – Greenfield

About the role

Wood is seeking a Senior Piping Engineer to lead the design and engineering of greenfield piping projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring compliance with industry codes and ADNOC standards while coordinating closely with EPC contractors and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise across all piping design activities.
• Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards.
• Coordinate, monitor, and manage piping design and engineering with the EPC contractor to meet project timelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers, ADNOC engineering, operations, and site interfaces to resolve technical issues and maintain quality.
• Conduct regular technical reviews of piping engineering deliverables from consultants and contractors, ensuring adherence to best practices.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in piping design and engineering.
• Proven ability to work with EPC contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of engineering codes and ADNOC standards.
